Curious cat snookered

A pub cat got more than he bargained for when he decided to explore the inside of a pool table.
Crunchie had his owners scratching their heads after disappearing for more than a week.
It was only when landlord Paul Hornsby opened his pool table to empty the coins that he saw his pet staring back at him from inside.
It seems the curious cat decided to have a hunt round beneath the green felt and got trapped inside.
Mr Hornsby was pleased to see his furry friend but wished he'd thought to look in the pool table before ripping up the floorboards.
With pet insurance premiums rising, Crunchie's owners are sure to be keeping a closer eye on him in the future.
